What materials do you use?

I use a mixture of materials for different uses. Large pieces that are designed to be worn over clothes, such as chainmaille shirts, are made of bright aluminium. This is lightweight and has a more authentic darkened appearance. There may be some 'grey rub off' due to manufacturing processes and natural reactions to the environment.

Pieces designed to be worn next to the skin get the anodised aluminium treatment. I use this for it's hypoallergenic qualities, durability, colours and lightweight properties. You can find out more about aluminium here.

I also like to use stainless steel within my work. It's strong, it's hefty, again it's suitable for most skin types and this makes it perfect for those pieces that have been designed with extra "grrrr".

When will I get my order?

Most items listed are those I carry 'in stock' or have the materials to make the order as they come in. These are generally shipped within 3-5 working days, sometimes sooner.

Custom pieces may require a bit more time as this incorporates design time, making and shipping. I aim to get these out within 2 weeks, however this will be discussed during the design process.

Larger items such as clothing and the tails do take longer. If you would like to find out current commission waiting lists and estimated shipping times, please contact me.

Items are generally sent out 1st class using either standard shipping or signed for depending on your selection.

As of 1/1/2021, we are no longer included within the European market so this can effect shipping times. Also please note if you are purchasing from outside of the UK, any customs or import fees are the responsibility of the purchaser.

If you have not received your order within 10 working days after it has shipped, please contact me and we can work together to resolve the issue.

Can I return my order for a refund?

If for any reason you are unhappy with your order, you may return it at your own cost for a refund, the exception being made to measure pieces such as scalemaille and chainmaille clothing. I'm happy to resize bracelets if you send them back to me with further measurements.

I take pride in my work but know normal wear and tear can cause damage to even the most hardiest of pieces, and with this knowledge I am able to provide a repair service all the time I'm able to pick up a pair of pliers. Just cover the cost of postage and your piece will be as good as new in no time.

How do I choose the right size?

When ordering a pendant, they come with a standard sized chain of 18 inches. If you wish to order a different length of chain, this can be done when ordering using the drop down menu. The diagram on the right should give you an idea of the kind of length you are looking for.

When ordering a bracelet, please measure around your wrist for a comfortable fit and order that length. Due to the nature of some weaves being flat, and some being more rounded this has an effect on the overall length - so if I know what size wrist I am making for I can adjust the length accordingly for the perfect fit.

For custom made clothing, please contact me to discuss sizing.
